Aune Valley Meat is a traditional run family business selling to the retail and catering trade.

From the smallest joint to 1\2 pig, lamb, bullock. Cut to the customer's requirement by our friendly enthusiastic team of butchers. We pride ourselves on rearing most of the beef on our own farms, with full tractability from birth to shop. Our animals are taken by our own transport to the abattoir. We are very conscious about animal welfare and stress.

Beef is returned to our shop by refrigerated transport and then hung for 14 days before butchering. Lamb is all from local farms within a 10-mile radius from the shop. Pork is of the highest quality, reared near Kingsbridge.

Poultry is purchased within the county of Devon, which is a class A British product free from growth promoters and antibiotics. We also stock free-range chicken, ducks and geese.

Vegetables, Cheese, Jams, Pickles, Patés, Ice creams will all be introduced as we look forward to growing and expanding into new ventures in the very near future, but guaranteeing to keep our very special quality control on all our products being large or small.
