Beef
All Aune Valley Meat beef is traditionally reared on our own or local farms, with full traceability. We use Lang's, a family run abattoir in Ashburton, a short distance away. The Devon beef is returned to our shop by refrigerated transport and then hung for at least 3 weeks. This allows the beef to mature, maximising flavour and tenderness before butchering.
